Silkeborg Golf Club is situated close to the city of Silkeborg in the “heart of Jutland” Denmark. The golf course was opened in 1966 and lies in the woods in this heartland.
It has grown to become one of the finest golf courses in Denmark. The course is long and of international standard. Some of the holes offer you a stunning view over the treetops with hills in the background.
We cannot tell you about all the holes but a few of them deserve a special mention. On the 4th hole (par 3 West) you tee up on a small hilltop and have a beautiful view over the green, surrounded by trees. This is the hole our guests and members prefer for their “Hole-in-One”. At the 2nd hole (par 4 South) a pond is situated in front of the tee; it doglegs to the right and is rated as the most difficult hole on the course. The 7th hole (par 3 South) is surrounded by trees and beautifully heather covered hills.
We invite you to come and try our course and find your own favourite hole.

Silkeborg Golf Club is Thomas Bjorn’s, home club. Thomas was a playing member of the European Ryder Cup in 1997 and 2002 and served as Vice Captain in 2004. Among other great achievements Thomas Bjorn has won more than 15 Tour victories.
After an exhilarating round of golf you can relax in our well equipped clubhouse and enjoy a pleasant meal in the restaurant.
In the spring of 2007 nine amazing new holes will be opened. The golf course will then have 27 holes that offer you the possibility of three different 18-hole courses. You can book tee off time on www.golfbox.dk.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at Silkeborg Golf Club.
